Erin is the daughter of a god.
For any other orphaned as a small child, this would be welcome news.
For Erin, nothing could be worse.

Upon finding an ancient spellbook, Erin Doherty is sent spiraling into a realm that she never knew existed—a place where her father, the man who abandoned her, lives like a king, lording over all, and her brother, Soren Vidar, fights to free the worlds from his oppression.

Escorted by her brother’s oldest friend, Jakob Väsen, Erin is welcomed into the home of some of the fiercest warriors in Soren’s rebellion. She joins the males in their crusade to rid their lives of the tyranny that they have long been accustomed to, and in turn they vow to keep her from becoming another weapon in her father’s never-ending arsenal of magic wielders.

With an increasingly desperate need to avenge her father’s wicked deeds, and an overwhelming attraction to Jakob, Erin soon finds herself in immersed in a destiny unlike anything she could have ever imagined. Only time will tell what the outcome will be.

Excerpts to help heat up your Summer!

His hand snaked out to trace the line of my jaw. “You must stop this, Erin. Soren is my oldest acquaintance and you are his newly found sister. Do you not see how this could be potentially disastrous to our very long friendship?”
I feigned disappointment even though I knew he would know exactly what I was up to.
“Try all you like, temptress. You will not win this.”
Arching an eyebrow, I asked, “Is that a challenge?”

My eyes shot to his. He looked uncomfortable with what he’d said, as if he hadn’t meant to use such coarse language with me. However, I thought it extremely apropos. I wasn’t thinking of white picket fences and making love. I wanted hot, primal, unforgettable sex with Jakob. I wanted him to fuck me so good that it would make me want that white picket fence.

“No.” He assured me, his fangs slurring the enunciation of his words. “Your brother is the only reason I am not tearing his mate’s clothes off your body and marking you as mine." He paused to trace my bottom lip with his thumb. “I have not been ‘pure’ for the last forty-five hundred years.”
I shivered under his touch. “Forty-five hundred.” I meant for it to come out as a question, but it was more like a statement of wonder. If he was that ancient, I had good faith that he would be somewhat of a sex-god and that only made me want him more.
His grip on my neck tightened as he tensed. “Erin, you need to go to your room—now. Before we do something that we regret.”

Tomorrow's stop of the tour will be at Don't forget to find the Summer Scavenger Hunt words in green on each stop to earn more points towards the Grand Prize!

The last beat of his heart took place shortly after losing his family to a gruesome and violent death. One snowy night, the creature who had been stalking him finally took his life, in turn giving him the gift of immortality. Yet, immortality to Alex is not a gift, but rather a curse to live in eternal pain.
Nearly a century of tortured existence leads him to a dumpster in a dark alleywhere he finds a reason for continuing on. Nestled between bits of debris and rubbish a tiny infant wails for help. He calls for his best friend and guardian angel, Danielle, who explains to him that he has been chosen to raise this baby, for she would some day become a very powerful, natural witch. She tells him it is now his job to protect her from the enemy who wants her so badly, yet also to be her father.
Thinking this angel is out of her mind, Alex refuses many times until Danielle convinces him that the enemy, Malcolm and his wife Levine, cannot obtain the child and that they are, indeed attempting to find her. He must keep her safe, because if evil hands raise her than she will grow to possess the power to annihilate them all.
Luckily, Alex is not alone, he has The Higher Collective to assist in his mission. With the combined powers of the Vampires, Angels, Dark Angels, Witches and Warlocks, The Higher Collective prepares for a battle to protect the child from the evil she may possibly inherit.

AJ Lape's No Brainer Release!

Two weeks before junior year, Darcy hops a plane to Orlando for a little R&R with her best friend Dylan and his family. Fresh off the heels of solving three murders in Valley, you'd think she'd sit back and enjoy the vacation capital of the world … maybe if you're a noun. Darcy Walker, however, is nothing but verb.

Before her feet hit the Orlando soil, she's meddling in the disappearance of a five-year-old boy who vanished six months earlier.

With authorities still no closer to solving the case, Darcy is shanghaied by her impulsivity and runs headlong into that proverbial burning building, convinced she can bring him home.

She travels down a road that not only follows this missing child but branches off into the corrupt and sinister world of mob activity when she tampers in a case on which Dylan's detective grandfather is working.

After a near disastrous midnight meeting in a warehouse and a date with a mechanical bull, Darcy realizes she might've bitten off more than she can chew. Add the boiling flirtationship with her best friend and the appearance of his romantic rival, and she is in over her head.

Will she survive a life of flirting with death too easily? Or will her flirtationship with Dylan become the actual death of her instead?

For a girl with a habit of finding dead bodies, No Brainer gives Darcy Walker more of the same…surprising twists and turns…and running for her life.

The sun beat down at 101 degrees Fahrenheit, making breathing a distant memory. Then again, nothing took your breath away like Murphy Walker when he’d rather kill you and eat the remains. For me, it was a familiar sensation. Dylan, however, looked like he’d fallen naked into a pit of scorpions.
We were holed up in Colton’s office, listening to my father on the speakerphone. Murphy was oblivious to his public disrobing, but Dylan reached over and hit the speaker mid-argument. Apparently, he wanted his family to know exactly what they were dealing with; and in practical terms, it kept me from rehashing his words anyway. Thing was, neither Colton nor Lincoln seemed especially intimidated. Both were studying a file on Colton’s desk, not even listening. For the first time, it became clear to me both had a stupid streak.
Dylan and I were curled into one another on the black leather couch. Zander'd barreled in minutes ago and had been kicked out. Then he stormed in seconds later only to be booted out again. Finally, on attempt number three, Colton shoved him onto the floor, telling him to “Shut his frigging mouth.”
The language had gone ghetto.
“You are not going to go under-fricking-cover!” Murphy screamed. “I’m going to kick somebody’s yellow-bellied, mother lovin’, dog humping butt all the way from the Heartland of it All. They’re not going to be able to sit down, kneel down, or kiss anyone else’s butt but their own by the time they untwist the damage that my fist is going to do.”
Let me introduce Kentucky cursing at its finest—interpreted only by a mutual hillbilly.

Murphy raised me, for God’s sake. He wasn’t Mother Goose.
