Three months of insanity!

Good grief! Has it really been that long since my last post? Time flies when you're stressed to the max, I guess! The last three months have been one of the most hectic, traumatizing, and completely exhausting times of my life. But you know what? It was so worth it!

This week, I released A Night of Wickedness, the first of the Wicked Ways Series and have to say that I am astounded by the response this release has had. A huge THANK YOU to the people who have bought it! I hope you enjoy reading it as much I did writing it!

As always, I want to thank M-N Smith at Mary-Nancy's Eagle Eye Editing for the fabulous job she does shaping my novel into something worth reading. If you are looking for a quality editor, look no farther than M-N Smith. She's the best!

Next up for me is The Fire Within the Night (Book Two of Night Aberrations Series)! It's projected to be released about March 15th. I'm super excited about the fabulous cover Once Upon a Time Covers made for this one! Check them out if you're looking for an affordable cover!

Psst...I'm giving away a $25 Kindle card, e-books, and other goodies at the two week long event that the Ebook Lovers Co-Op is having for Night Aberrations. Come by and join in the fun from January 15th - January 30th at and please share with your friends!

Okay, that's all I got for now! Expect another post VERY soon!

Night Aberrations is Live!

After two long years of writing (and avoiding writing), Night Aberrations is live on Amazon's Kindle! It was a long, stressful adventure, but also a very fulfilling one. I mean, how cool is it to see your own book on your Kindle.'s REALLY cool.
As proud of myself as I am, I couldn't have accomplished this without a few very important people.
First and foremost is my husband, Nels. He basically does everything else that has to be done, just so I can write. Without him, I'd have probably released N.A somewhere around 2016.
Secondly, is the fabulous M-N Smith. She was absolutely instrumental in N.A's release. Her careful editing and formatting made N.A the book I always hoped it could be.
Last, but certainly not least is Paragraphic Designs. I feel like I hit the book cover lottery with the cover she made for me. With a talent like hers, it's no wonder that's she's in such high demand.
Thanks guys, for helping me make my dreams of becoming an author a reality.

Update, because I never give one

I know I haven't wrote anything on this blog lately—not that it matters. I'm not deluded enough to think that there are people anxiously awaiting the next little tidbit of information shared about my mundane life. And I don't blame you. There are a million better blogs and a million or two more interesting people.
I'm excited to say that Night Aberrations is days away from my editor's hands (Thanks to Mary-Nancy's Eagle Eye Editing for her services). I'm beyond nervous about releasing it. I keep asking myself, "It is too racy? Will people hate the subject matter. Why am I doing this to myself?". It's enough to make me insane.
I guess the bottom line is, I have to do it. I've invested the time (and money). I've created these complex and attention hungry characters in my head. And I want people to see what I've done. Even if Night Aberrations sucks it big time, I'm still going to be a proud mama because I DID THIS, not someone else. Just me, and you know what? I. Rocked. It.

Pics of the awesome swag Sezzy's Sparkles made for me!

Release day swag!

It's all starting to come together!

Some really exciting things are going on in the Night Aberrations world! I've officially picked a cover—yay! It's being worked on as I write this. Wait until you see it, it's awesome. :-)

I've also been working on getting the odds and ends wrapped up for the release in the summer. I've got my copyright stuff and ISBNs  in order. Now, I just need to choose a printing company for the print edition and to have bookmarks made, get my website up and running, and finish the last few chapters before sending it off to the editor. This is really thrilling stuff for me!

If anyone has any recommendations for editors or printing companies, feel free to post them in the comments.
